As much as I'm starting to feel like a real adult, there are somethings that are just going to make me laugh. For example, the "Comparative Literature" department's abbreviation is "C LIT." I wonder if they realized that when they made the department lists...

Another good one from yesterday in syntax: the white board pen was not working so one guy says, "lick it!" and my prof pauses for a moment before saying "You lick it!" I almost died laughing.

Kira awarded me a Purple Heart from the Linguistics Military.

And I'm in love.
